The April 1st election for Post Commander resulted in the selection of Len Lieber for the 2026-27 Post Commander.
Mike Schrull would like to extend his deepest appreciation for the good well he has experienced as Post 211 last
years commander; wishing the post all the best for the future.
He will still be around as the past commander.
The installation of the post officers for 2026-27 will occur at the May general membership meeting.

The executive board has revised the Meals for Vets program at post 211 see rules for details.

Remember if you need a place to talk over issues of your military service,
please consider the post 211 PTSD Support Group held every Thursday at 7pm.
Len has vast experience in counseling and has observed that veterans are reluctant to express
their trauma outside a non-judgmental and safe environment. Special Invitation to all members from Len.

As always, the E-board seeks the betterment of our post so, please come to the regular meetings
of your epilated organization (veterans, auxiliary or S.A.L.). Your thoughts and comments

Executive Board - Avon Lake American Legion Post 211
Since our charter in 1928, American Legion Post 211 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces.
Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country.
Canteen Operation daily 12pm to closing, house rules:
- The Big M at Post 211 Kitchen (offering regular menu and weekly specials),
- 1,910 sq.ft. Pub and Dining space (waiting service at tables and bar),
- Remodeled Hall rentals available, contact Chris 440-933-8695
- Freshly popped corn (50¢ donation),
- New Exciting Game Machines, Ohio Lottery Games, Pull-tabs...
- Queen of Hearts - Friday drawings; daily and weekly raffles;
- Several Large screen televisions,
- Meeting place and "watering hole" for your groups post-activities,
- Weekly food events (Watch Ads at Canteen, ...).
YOU MUST BE A CURRENT PAID UP 2026 MEMBER TO ENTER THE CANTEEN
YOU CAN ONLY BRING A GUEST IN 3 TIMES AND THEY MUST SIGN THE REGISTER BOOK
